After the War
- After World war two, the Jews in Europe decided to set up their own country in the middle east called Israel which still exist today.
- After the war, Nazi war criminals were put to justice in the Nuremberg trials. The Nuremberg trials were a series of 13 trials where high ranking Nazis were judged by judges from the allied countries of Great Britain, United States, and the Soviet Union. They were put to trial for crimes against peace, and crimes against humanity.
- Some 12,000 Nazis escaped to South America to hide out. They most likely went to Argentina and established their own working communities. It was a haven for Nazi fugitives.
